I'm Claire, a Network Operations Technician with a growing stack of networking certifications and a clear goal of becoming a network engineer.
Hey there!
I work as a NOC Technician at UberData Networks, a Columbus-based managed service provider, where my day-to-day covers more than the title suggests. I monitor multi-vendor network infrastructure, troubleshoot directly with customers, and configure core equipment like switches and OLTs. I also build and maintain network documentation, help lead small projects, and support remediation work following client security assessments. Beyond remote support, I go on-site to install and troubleshoot equipment, and to assess client environments and identify issues that need to be addressed. I work hands-on with vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Ruckus, Fortinet, and Tellabs, and with tools like Auvik, PRTG, ConnectWise, and Hamina.
I started out as a cybersecurity student at C-TEC of Licking County and quickly fell for networking — the problem-solving, the constant learning, and the satisfaction of making complex systems just work. Since then I've built out a certification stack spanning networking, security, and vendor-specific platforms — you can see the full list on my resume page. Right now I'm working toward JNCIA-MistAI. My goal is to grow into a network engineering role and, eventually, explore solutions engineering.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me on the golf course or pickleball court — or hanging out with my corgi, Oliver.
